The Clearwater Bears Club is a gay male brotherhood organization created to promote fellowship among hirsute men, cubs, Levi/leather men and admirers of the aforementioned. We strive to provide a safe network for singles and couples to socialize, where all members treat each other with respect and dignity. We also strive to promote positive interclub relations within the local, regional, national and international bears and Levi/leather communities. We want to encourage a positive public image of the bear community within the City of Clearwater, Pinellas County and the State of Florida.

Crescendo is an ever evolving, ever growing organization constantly looking for new ideas, new voices, support and suggestions. New members are always welcome. We dance every Tuesday night at the Metro Center. Beginners class 7:30-9:00pm. Plus class 9:00-10:00pm.

Who are the Growlers?

The West Florida Growlers are a diverse group of individuals. Our members range from Cubs to Otters, to Gray Bears. And, you'll find the interests just as varied. If there were but one word you could use to describe the Growlers, it would have to be "accepting".

What do Growlers do?

We are dedicated to providing both a Social and a Service environment for our members. We sponsor fun raising efforts to help fund community service organizations. We hold our annual Teddy Bear Drive, collecting Teddy Bears for local children's organizations Our Annual Charity Auction benefits many local charities, we have been able to raise over $15,000.00 over the last 6 years.
